Piscatores in Aeternum.
An Establishment of singular distinction, convened in private session for the contemplation of the wild Trout, the husbandry of the unspoken Water, and the upholding of standards which it would be ungentlemanly to enumerate.
The Membership enters by this door.

✠The Jäil Anglers were convened in the Year of Our Lord 2021 upon principles which had, until that occasion, been honoured chiefly in their absence. The Triumvirate having met in plenary session, and having found one another's company tolerable, did then and there adopt a Charter, a Code of Comportment, and a Logbook, the contents of which shall not be reproduced in this place.
The Establishment does not maintain an account of its activities, save in correspondence and in the Logbook. The Membership is not photographed. The Waters are not mapped. The Trout are not weighed save in the privacy of the Register.
Such is the comportment of this House.
✠The Establishment maintains a Membership of three, a number arrived at after considerable deliberation, and which the Committee finds itself disinclined to revisit. The Membership is not open. A Waiting List does not exist. The Establishment does not solicit interest, and is not gratified by the receipt of it.
Persons of remarkable accomplishment may, in vanishingly rare circumstances, be considered for the rank of Visiting Sportsman — a position carrying neither voting rights, nor permanent recognition, nor a key to the Premises. The Committee meets in plenary session at intervals of its own choosing, and is under no obligation to inform the visitor of the outcome of its deliberations.
